DESCRIPTION:Good Afternoon\, \nAfter a great deal of though and prayer we have decided to postpone the Friends Forever Club that we scheduled for 3/13/2020. \nIt pains me to make this announcement; spending Friday nights with this group has become my favorite social activity and I hate to postpone any events. However we do serve a population that\, in many cases\, is at a higher risk if infected. In an effort to be as safe as possible we will be postponing tomorrows event. \nAttached you will find a document that details ways to prevent this virus. One that stands out to me is: \nTake a few sips of water every 15 minutes at least. \nWhy? Even if the virus gets into your mouth\, drinking water or other liquids will wash them down through your throat and into the stomach. \nOnce there\, your stomach acid will kill the virus. If you don’t drink enough water more regularly\, the virus can enter your windpipe and into the lungs. That’s very dangerous.  \nThank you all for being understanding. I know this can and will be challenging for folks who have already planned on attending our event. \nI also encourage everyone to join us in praying for those who are effected by this virus. And also please keep the folks in mind that live in situations of poverty all around the world who will be deeply effected by this. \nPlease call me if you have any questions. \nHope to see you all soon\, \nThanks\, \nDan Baker

DESCRIPTION:Hello! \nNext Friday Friends Forever will have a special event for our Club time at the Broomfield Community Church. We will be meeting from 6pm-8pm (We are extending this week an extra 15 minutes for this special event).\n \nThe NSCD (National Sports Center For the Disabled) will be setting up their NSCD Moves Obstacle Course at the Church! This course is adaptive so ANYONE and EVERYONE can join in and complete this course. NSCD’s trained staff members will be assisting folks as they move through the course. \nHere is a little video showing what this looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7TVojOafK0   \n \n Please read below\, sign ups are required to be able participate on the obstacle course.  \n \nSIGN UPS:\n\nFor anyone to participate in NSCD activities they need to sign a waver to be able to do so. NSCD has created a special sign up link for this event. DESCRIPTION:Here is the exciting news you’ve been waiting for about Friends Forever Winter Camp!\nThis year our Winter Camp will take place November 7th-10th. We are returning to the YMCA of the Rockies at Winter Park! \n\nWe will be departing from the Broomfield Community Church at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday the 7th and returning Sunday the 10th around 12:00 noon.\n\nThis year we will be enjoying some amazing meals together\, swimming in a heated pool\, archery\, indoor rock climbing\, arts and craft events\, dance party\, talent shows\, roller skating\, sledding and much much more! Each night we will also have a Club style event to spend time together laughing\, singing\, and learning about more about God’s love.\n\nCost: Camp will cost $325.00 for the weekend. $100.00 is due when you sign up. This cost will cover transportation\, housing costs\, meals\, snacks and access to the YMCA facilities on site.\n\nAttached is the Winter Camp registration form\, Winter Camp Waiver and a MAR sheet (medication administration record sheet)\, We will need all forms completed and filled out before Thursday\, November 7th.\n \nSpace is limited and we are expecting to “sell out”.
