DESCRIPTION:Our group\, just like virtually everything else\, has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. After discussions with the director of Camp Eden\, Friends Forever Board and our leader’s team we have decided to move our Summer Camp to the Fall. Our new Camp dates will be October 9th-11th 2020! \nThis was a very difficult decision to make but Friends Forever and Camp Eden both feel that this is the safest decision for our group. \nI love summer camp! I look forward to planning it and spending that time with everyone. The past few summer camps have been filled with amazing experiences\, lots of laughter\, joy and meaningful interactions with God and each other. Our leaders and volunteers\, along with many of you\, will be missing summer camp dearly. However I do believe God is blessing our group- After talking with Camp Eden it became apparent that they will not be hosting normal camps in June\, if any camps. Camp Eden is going to open up a weekend in October so we can still gather for Camp in a few months! \nIf you have already signed up for Summer Camp we are going to be 100% flexible: \n-If you want to roll your summer camp registration and payment to the Fall Camp we can do that. \n -Any paperwork\, Physicals\, ect completed for Summer Camp can be rolled over to the Fall Camp. \n-If you have paid in full for summer and would like to attend the Fall Camp we will reimburse you the difference for the Fall Camp. \n-If you need a refund that will be given in full. \n-Any questions please call me 717-658-5658 or email me at dbake1342@gmail.com \n\n\nSummer Camp Registration Form\nCamp Scholarship Application\nSummer Camp Waiver and Medical Release\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Hello! \nThe NSCD (National Sports Center For the Disabled) will be setting up their NSCD Moves Obstacle Course at the Church! This course is adaptive so ANYONE and EVERYONE can join in and complete this course. NSCD’s trained staff members will be assisting folks as they move through the course. \nHere is a little video showing what this looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7TVojOafK0   \n \n Please read below\, sign ups are required to be able participate on the obstacle course.  \n \nSIGN UPS:\n\nFor anyone to participate in NSCD activities they need to sign a waver to be able to do so. NSCD has created a special sign up link for this event. DESCRIPTION:Good Afternoon\, \nAfter a great deal of though and prayer we have decided to postpone the Friends Forever Club that we scheduled for 3/13/2020. \nIt pains me to make this announcement; spending Friday nights with this group has become my favorite social activity and I hate to postpone any events. However we do serve a population that\, in many cases\, is at a higher risk if infected. In an effort to be as safe as possible we will be postponing tomorrows event. \nAttached you will find a document that details ways to prevent this virus. One that stands out to me is: \nTake a few sips of water every 15 minutes at least. \nWhy? Even if the virus gets into your mouth\, drinking water or other liquids will wash them down through your throat and into the stomach. \nOnce there\, your stomach acid will kill the virus. If you don’t drink enough water more regularly\, the virus can enter your windpipe and into the lungs. That’s very dangerous.  \nThank you all for being understanding. I know this can and will be challenging for folks who have already planned on attending our event. \nI also encourage everyone to join us in praying for those who are effected by this virus. And also please keep the folks in mind that live in situations of poverty all around the world who will be deeply effected by this. \nPlease call me if you have any questions. \nHope to see you all soon\, \nThanks\, \nDan Baker

SUMMARY:Club Night - Bible Study - NSCD Special Event Obstacle Course
DESCRIPTION:Hello! \nNext Friday Friends Forever will have a special event for our Club time at the Broomfield Community Church. We will be meeting from 6pm-8pm (We are extending this week an extra 15 minutes for this special event).\n \nThe NSCD (National Sports Center For the Disabled) will be setting up their NSCD Moves Obstacle Course at the Church! This course is adaptive so ANYONE and EVERYONE can join in and complete this course. NSCD’s trained staff members will be assisting folks as they move through the course. \nHere is a little video showing what this looks like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7TVojOafK0   \n \n Please read below\, sign ups are required to be able participate on the obstacle course.  \n \nSIGN UPS:\n\nFor anyone to participate in NSCD activities they need to sign a waver to be able to do so. NSCD has created a special sign up link for this event. If you would like to participate in the course please fill out the form found in this link: Unique Sign Up Link: https://nscd.theonlysky.com/shop/?access_code=Friends+of+Colorado_+2020\n \n*Folks will also have the opportunity to sign the waver at Club; however they need to be their own guardian to do so* I would strongly suggest signing up before hand. \n \nEvent Details:\nWe will serve a spaghetti dinner with salad\, fruit and snacks for our meal. Folks who choose not to participate in the course will have other options: we will have a movie showing up stairs and a game room set up as well. Come join us for a really fun night! \n \nThe NSCD Moves Obstacle Course typically would cost 25 dollars per person; however we are only asking for a suggested donation of $5 or $10 dollars if you are able to.
